Media Relations
I help small to mid-size nonprofits that have no or few communications staffers as they raise awareness of their programs, events, or research. I start by identifying the audience the organization needs to communicate with and working with its spokesperson to prepare for interviews on different platforms. I look beyond traditional media to new platforms to see who has the target audience’s attention.
Writing
I love to write university marketing content. My favorite features explore how faculty members advise government officials on their area of expertise and how their influence extends beyond their classrooms. I love to talk to alumni about how they have built on what they learned in college to make a meaningful difference in their careers.
Editing
I work with writers to polish new content or to repurpose existing content for new audiences. My goal is to help audiences connect the dots from the programs you’re offering to differences made over the long term. I make sure content conforms to your standards and expectations.
